Of course, you could always join Jon's Q&A forum. I understand if you post good answers there, you can earn points and get your adverts posted for free. http://answers.jlforums.com/

Thank you, I did not know about that site

Hi Jonathan,

I am wondering if there is anywhere on the forum where I can offer freebies to members with a sign up to my list, I just launched a high quality PLR site and so I would like to spread the word.

I agree completely, they banned some of my sites some time ago, the reasons they gave we were stupid. There is life after Google

Adsense isn't what it was before 2005.  It is harder to earn a living from it and Google plays more games with you about it than they did back then.  It's a learning tool but something to get away from as fast as you can in today's world.

This is an older post so what I am about to say may not still apply to you.  But it might help the next person to which this may happen, as Google does this on a regular basis.  Probably on a daily basis if we had any way to know. :(

If Google banned you from Adsense based on what you were doing on those sites then I assume they also dropped the search engine ranking on those sites.  The two actions seem to go hand in hand.

If they did I would not waste my time trying to get the ranking back.  I would simply buy new domains and transfer the content, allowing the old domains to expire.  Then I would spent the time ranking the new domains.

It is much easier and faster to rank a new domain than an old domain that has been penalized by Google.

And quite frankly, using offervault and other sources, you can probably find products that will earn you much more than adsense ever earned from those sites.

Search Engine Optimization / Re: Google Analytics Information
« on: February 01, 2014, 09:37:48 AM »
This will not change any more: Last year google closed the source for keywords in your organic search. As far as I remember Bing followed the move.
They have switched to https "for better privacy" but as a paying adwords member you still  get the data for paid traffic...
There will be trickles of keyword data from minor other search engines (I don't know how russian Yandex and chinese Baidu are handling this)
But for the majority of searches we now live in a "not provided" world :-(

For more info just google "google keyword not provided" and you will find a plethora of information...

Mike

That figures! LOL, as long as they get paid, privacy is not an issue, vomit!!

MBA Trainer,

I suggest StatCounter, it's free, they have all that data you want, and more and it's better than letting Google see anything too closely on your sites anyway. It's just another way for them to spy on websites.

I don't use anything of theirs, including, GWT.

How long ago did you set it up? There probably has not been enough time for the data to collect. How many of your site's pages are indexed in Google?

This is the business, there will always be ups and downs, you cannot rely on solely Google for anything long term, diversify, create your own products when you have enough knowledge, that's the best way to go.

I like this theme, other forums are horrible, with yellow font on black, this one is easy to use and I like it

I agree with the replies, these links are not effective and can actually be harmful if all you have are these types of spammy links

Why delete their comments?  Convert them to good comments for your sites, since their comments contain their IP addresses and can add value to your sites.

I have a list of comments I want on my site plus generic comments that are good on all sites.

So when I see a spam comment I change the email address to a person and copy and paste one of my comments into the comment body.

Then when google spiders my sites they see reader interest in the posts with relevant comments and a wide variety of email addresses for the comments.  It makes my sites look as if the visitors love them and take the time to comment on the articles.

It does take a little time, about a minute per comment to change the email address and copy and paste a good comment into the comment body.

So I don't hate spammers as they help me rank my sites and keep them ranked.

But my original point was spammers are stupid, since they could receive valid do follow links from my sites if they would just post something I could leave on the site.  I use the CommentLuv plugin on my site so they can also get their keyword after their email address if they would do it right.

But being stupid they receive nothing while I receive value from the IP address they provide for my site comments and the good comment I paste into their comment body.

That is actually a really great idea. They can't real thoughtful comments because they use automated software and no human really reads the content

General Chatter / Re: Google encyclopedia to siphon MORE searches?
« on: January 29, 2014, 05:55:19 PM »
Google is not a friend of small web site owners who want to use organic search.  It is doing more and more to direct searchers to it's paid advertisers, sites it owns and to the large corporate sites.

As webmasters we need to educate our users to switch to Bing, which is still small web site friendly.

All my sites rank of the first page of Bing.  The same sites rank on the second and third pages of Google, behind worthless youtube videos, about.com and other junk sites.

I no longer use Adsense, any of the Google webmaster tools nor Google Chrome.  Google is now a registrar and can find out any information it wants about your sites.  I see no reason to make it even easier for them by using their tools so they can spy on your sites.

I agree completely, and I too do not use GWT, Google Analytics, Chrome or anything Google has to offer.

I wish I knew how to do this "churn and burn" stuff with REAL content but it looks like they target high fashion handbags, shoes and coats. Is that all anyone ever thinks about, according to the spammers?

Those are high value niches, but they do it with everything, Credit cards, CPA offers, diets, porn, casino, all the high value stuff.

Well, you can do churn and burn with REAL content, the problem is at some point you can lose your site in SERPS, or deindexed completely and then you have to start all over.

I hate the Spammers too, always deleting their crap.
