Title: Relevant Titles
Post by: bstbiz on October 18, 2011, 11:33:11 AM
I really like the way Article Builder works and am sure it will get even better ...
I understand that for now it can not really create 100% keyword relevant articles in case we type in niche keyword, product names etc... It may happen sometime down the line maybe, but not yet.

One thing I did notice and would like to point out is the relevancy of article titles.
I noticed that the title may use a keyword that is not even mentioned in the article body.

My suggestion is that if a title contains a tight niche keyword , the article body must have something relevant to that keyword... or, just don't use these niche keyword titles at all and use only general ones.

For example: In the auto insurance niche, I got an article title including the term "Gap Insurance" and there was nothing in the article about that term...

Thanks and much success

I agree entirely.

I am hoping that the content database will grow rapidly in depth, as well as breadth of topics, so that the content within a single article can be more directly relevant to the keywords.

I have also suggested including negative keywords so you don't end up with snippets that are completely irrelevant to your purpose.

One workaround could be to build a larger article, say 1000 words, and then manually remove the snippets that are irrelevant.

Anyway so far I am using the articles with TBS for linking strategies, which is saving me loads of time and money!  8)

To the OP's point: titles with specific keywords like that shouldn't be going into the database. I've put some QC in place to prevent that from happening in the future, and those titles with such issues are being edited by my team of editors so they should be removed/rewritten soon.

Whatever JL's guys do can I offer the following as a suggestion?

Use two titles, wherever possible. An H1 and an H2. Use one that is auto generated and write one of them yourself. I bet you dollars to donuts that you get better SE results by doing so because come what may there will only ever be a limited number of titles available to the AB system but our own minds are limitless.
