Question about the sequence of words in thesaurus
« on: February 02, 2018, 12:03:21 AM »
does the word that should be rewritten with synonyms always has to be the first word in thesaurus?
e.g. the sentcence is 'I love my dog' and the word dog should be rewritten with synonyms. For that I created a custom thesaurus that looks like this 'hound|puppy|dog|mutt' - dog is not the first word in thesaurus.
Will that work?
Thanks and regards.

The thesaurus gives you an example of how the entries should be written but you will need one entry for each word. So you will need an entry for dog, an entry for hound, an entry for puppy, etc.

Now that I am back on my PC (instead of on the Tablet), select the "Thesaurus" option along the top menu bar, once you open TBS.
Then double click on the thesaurus icon. This opens the thesaurus list. Double click on the thesaurus you want (if it isn't already selected), then on the "custom thesaurus file format" button. This gives you the format you need for adding thesaurus items.
