Hi Josh,
Nothing new but I think a few of us are waiting for more guidance on how to use the slicer that was mentioned in another post around 10 days ago. I do remember an email earlier this year from Jon where the use of the slicer was featured. Is it possible to have a copy of it, please?

Sorry, no luck Jon - I am simply trying to put a pause (comma) after the word "or" either on slide 3 of the first project version or slide 4 on the second project version.
While writing could you also comment on whether it is possible to back out from the spinning cogs within the programme instead of closing the programme down and re-booting as I do now?

Hi All, I am having difficulty in managing Caption Downloads. Can you suggest a procedure and a programme able to give me a printable report? Currently, the download is defaulting to either Sage Reports (Accounting software) or Adobe, neither of which is recognizing the file format. - Thanks - Jack :P

Hi Jon,
Just  wondered if you have managed any progress on Bookmarking Posts and the renaming of files in Favouries folders. No pressure but wondered if it still work in progress.

Thank you - Jack

Hi Jon,
The judder is not a big issue with me - just a bit disconcerting. It was happening while I was working on the edits and checking the audio content before saving the slide.

Hi Jon,
Sorry to say that I am still having a bit of bother with this same video.
I have finished recording the audio, but on occasion, the countdown timer stuck when it got to 1, and I had to reboot to get it to go back to the mic at the countdown
I also now find that the "update and close" and "update" don't work when editing slides. I discovered this when I was trying to get the text box to delay for an extended time before fading on slide 1.
Another oddity now appearing is that slides are juddering on edit play back (more so when editing audio).
I am managing to work around most of these but thought you might want to know about them anyway.

Regards - Jack

Jo
I have just noticed that all of my recordings from slide 14 on have disappeared. Not sure why so I will have to look at why and how.

Whilst working on this video and others it tends to happen quite frequently as does the "Unexpected error" popup. The spinning cogs happen most when doing voice recordings and especially if I try a re-recording hard after a previous one, so I tend to delay a bit before doing it. The above presentation has 30 slides where the spinning cogs went into continuous operation on slide 25 ( and a couple of times earlier on previous slides) when trying to save the recording. If I reboot the programme and go straight to the slide it will probably work okay but then likely to happen again 3 or 4 slides further on. I am really enjoying the IVW programme but there are a few glitches - Do you want me to keep reporting these - I am never sure because I am reluctant to over-post negative comment.
Best regards - Jack

I am wondering how to stop the spinning cogs when they go into a prolonged operation. Currently I am closing the whole programme and restarting from scratch but that is becoming a bit tedious. So an simpler way would help "make my day". Any suggestions please? Thanks

I create the whole video and then edit the it by over-recording each page after clicking the microphone icon.
Hope this helps.
