Wikipedia has been completely parsed for expired domains. It will be downloaded and parsed again soon, as new domains come and go all the time.

As for the rest, you have to do your research as I've already indicated. Don't just register domains because they have high views on YouTube. Make sure the domain is important to the video(s) and highlighted in the video description.

Hi Jon,

It's really hard to come across a domain that is the only one in the description in a video with high views. Normally they are in a list.

Add to that, it's very hard to find one that happens to have some external value to it on its a generic, sensible name. And one that is without any potential legal issues in the future.

Any domain worth their salt would surely be renewed. Those that were not are usually the crappy ones.

It does not seem like getting those domains with traffic is going to be easy at all. Might be wasting a lot of money on a lot of duds before even coming across one that has even a few hundred visitors in a month.

I found another one that is generic enough to reuse (without any worries about the previous owner coming back for it), with 17 million views across many videos, and the videos still get traffic judging from the comments (some were new). Has a Facebook page with 1.7k likes far from my testing, only getting maybe 1 visitor a day.

Pinterest domains (with traffic) are very, very rare, especially if you are looking for something in your chosen niches.

I hope this question belongs here.

Is there ANY way to estimate traffic from a domain even though it has millions of views so far?

Because I am starting to see that even domains with millions of views do not necessarily have any traffic or so little that it's not worth the money to register them at all.

There are many stale and old videos in YouTube that do not get views any more although 5 years ago they were hot. Or else, it's a lousy niche or some gossip/celeb/foreign language/potentially TM issues domain that is very difficult or impossible to monetize properly.  :(

I did find one domain which has been on 100+ videos and has 10 million+ views, and even Facebook page with nearly 500 likes, etc. This is in an evergreen niche.

However, so far next to zero traffic. If you put the domain on parking, this is the fastest way to know if there is any traffic and/or if they have the propensity to click anything.

I'm wondering if anyone has actually found domains with traffic?

Being linked on so many videos with so many views has only resulted in like....1 visitor every 2 days or so. Far from what I was expecting.

Thanks Amin....looks like the problem was my Firefox browser. If you Google "Fiverr cannot login with Firefox", you will see some of the problems that Firefox is infamous for.

And looks like it was a Firefox problem in the end.

I forgot to factor that in, and the fact that sometimes, the "cookie" or "security setting" in Firefox gets corrupted and Firefox will itself ban me from the site that I want to login....

I can login again, after clearing all cookies and deleting all saved passwords from JLForums.

Hope this info can help someone who faces the same issue. Firefox is very iffy in this regard, and also in a few other "mysterious" aspects.

Jon or Amin,

Your Helpdesk is unable to help me on this issue.

Why am I banned from this forum on desktop?

I am posting this through mobile.

Something weird happened last week and I found I was banned both on mobile and desktop. I wrote your Helpdesk and Janet Ramos replied claiming there is nothing wrong. Immediately after, I could login via mobile...BUT on desktop I cannot login even with the same credentials that I use on mobile.

I have cleared all cookies on desktop and now, I cannot even access this site as a Guest!

This is all happening on desktop.

What in the world is going on here???

TextSuite / Is there a replay video of TextSuite?

Just wondering if there is a replay video of the webinar about this tool?

It might be something that I can use, but I need to have a clear picture of how it is supposed to work. And the webinar was held at a time when I am asleep.
