Hi Julie

If I remember correctly when using cloud flare you change the DNS of your site to cloudflare's server and and give them your "real IP", so any access is first going to cloud flare and only then cloud flare fetches new content from your site.
One way to work around this might be to make your site accessible under a subdomain that is not redirected to cloudflare, so that Article builder will actually access your site and not cloudflare's server when trying to upload content.

Search Engine Optimization / Re: Effects on website without off page SEO

If it is indexed and there is no competition it will rank, if there is competition you will have no chance without links (off page seo)

Search Engine Optimization / Re: working of google spiders
« on: January 06, 2018, 10:17:16 AM »
Hi

Yes, spiders, crawlers and bots are basically the same thing. In short they are programs that fetch the content of webpages and try to extract data about the content and about outgoing links. This data is then added to the bot/spider/crawler's owner's index and used e.g. for search results. Where do the funny names come from? I dunno... it's basically just a piece of software...

Search Engine Optimization / Re: In Bound Marketing
« on: December 14, 2017, 03:55:06 AM »
In my opinion inbound marketing is a bit more than SEO as it also involves being found on social media. (which in turn can help your SEO...) classical SEO: Improve the rankings of your website. Inbound marketing try be found by your customers (on any channel, not only your own website) instead of reach them via ads. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inbound_marketing)

Search Engine Optimization / Re: Keywords Planner Tool
« on: October 26, 2017, 12:16:52 AM »
Hi

From my experience there are two things to observe:
1 All keyword volume data lower than 1000 per month hast o taken with caution. Generally it means there is not enough traffic to calculate  better or more accurate numbers...

2 The keyword planner projects historic data into the future. When you look at keywords that have lost interest it takes google a while before they adjust the data.

I am not aware of more accurate keyword tools...

cheers

hi

This might be a setting of your theme - some themes use their own settings and ignore the general WordPress setting... what is your theme?

Search Engine Optimization / Re: Meta Description is not displayed
« on: June 27, 2015, 11:16:59 PM »
Hi

The short test google shows below a URL in the SERPs is not fixed to the meta description. If google thinks that the searcher will get better information from an excerpt that matches the search better, it will show that excerpt.
To test whether your meta description is recognized at all, you could do a search like site:mydomain.com and see whether this "neutral" search shows your meta description.

Actually I think all three sources are not the highest quality links you can get and should not be the majority of your links.
You really have to think more into the direction of content marketing. Create content that is so unique and so valuable that other webmaster start linking to it. Those are the most valuable links you can get.

10
If social bookmarking is your only source of links I fear it will not help much - maybe even get you into trouble.
It should be a part of the links portfolio though, as a good web project will also have natural social bookmarks.

11
I think it really depends whether you are doing SEO for a long term project or company or whether it is for a churn and burn project in a small niche.
For the latter a lot of tactics still work (at least for a while), for the former I would pretty much stick with what Rand wrote...

12
Then this is going to be tough...
I would ask the site owner which sub pages target which keyword and then place links to the sub pages with the URLs as anchor text (which is very much penguin safe...)
Try to find someone who can ask japanese site owners in polite Japanese whether they can put up links...

Hope that helps...

Do you speak Japanese?

New Product Ideas / Re: Plugin Fix
« on: March 17, 2015, 08:21:20 AM »
Are you talking of wordpress plugins in special or about software in general. Besides the WP plugins that come with encrypted code it should not be a big problem to find a competent programmer to fix any plugins that were working with former versions of WP and stopped working now...

Search Engine Optimization / Re: YOuTube Channel for your site
« on: March 12, 2015, 06:01:57 AM »
I don't have that much experience with youtube, but as a gut feeling I would say that you should have a niche specific channel and also interact with other niche specific channels...
