Submit Spun Articles To Blogs - Bot
« on: November 18, 2010, 01:12:46 PM »
Hi,
Long time lurker, owner of 3 of Jons products and thought i'd finally sign up.

One thing i've been looking for is an article submission bot for blogs, particularly wordpress blogs but would glady go for any other platform too.
Of the dozens i can find, they are all aimed at creating Auto Blogs, whereas what i was thinking of, was just an automated way of posting Fresh and New articles over multiple blogs that I own, with spin syntax capabilities.

So far as i can find, the only Blog posting bots around just rip content from an RSS feed and post it to blogs.

Rather than this, i'd like to see a bot that does the following:

- Allows you to input settings (user/pass etc) for multiple blogs, possibly over multiple platforms such as wordpress.
- Allows blogs to be sorted into categories, PR, Niche, Specific networks (e.g 'Blog network #1', 'Blog network #2').
- Allows you to use an inbuilt text editor to input text and HTML.
- The capability to use Spin Syntax in the text, so that generated articles are more unique.
- Allows you to post a unique article to a selected number of Blogs, or to all blogs in a certain category, or in a defined 'network'.
- There should be the ability to 'Drip Feed' articles to selected blogs, where the program runs in the background, and runs on startup if there is a currently active drip feed campaign.

Possible extras:

- The ability to pay for a monthly membership, where you can select any number of your blogs to be sent to a 'Main Network', where you can post to blogs belonging to other members.
This would essentially be 1WayLinks (i think, don't currently use it) and similar to other public blog posting networks, but would be easier to select any number of your already imported blogs to add to the system and would also allow another network for people to subscribe to, aswell as the current widely used ones.

- Export / Import blog lists and settings.
This would allow you to save your lists incase something goes wrong with the program.
Could also be used to 'Trade' blog lists with other people.

- A 'Blog Marketplace' where users could market off the ability to post to other peoples blogs for a set number of posts, set duration of time or indefinate usage.
These blogs would have to be separate from the blogs entered into the main network.
A percentage fee could be applied to each transaction and information about each party could be restricted so that outside communication would not happen, thus all transactions would be made through the software, with a guaranteed % going to Jon.

I think my creativity started to spike near the end there, but for the most part i'd like to see a software that can do what i initially listed, with possible extras later.

Thanks!  :D

What you've laid out would be a great piece of software, I admit.  It is a very good idea.

Hi Long time,

The product you are wanting is out there.. I currently have it, but it is not
as good as Jon's would be.  Now all we have to do it talk him into building
it....

There are a few mess up's in the one that I currently own, with no updates.
And should the same thing happened with one Jon built. It would be fixed..

Thanks Jon :)
I thought about the payment situation for the Marketplace idea and thought a better alternative to sending 'payments' to other members for permission to post, would be to use a points system like on MWL (I think, lol, It's another of yours i haven't gotten around to trying yet).
So you could enter your blogs into the system with some information about it and price it up for so many points, other members come along and decide to pay using points that they bought earlier (either one time fees or so many points per month on subscription etc).
This way, rather than having a % fee per transaction (or in addition to that, which would reduce the number of points on the market), you would be able to sell off points on a 'so many points per $' basis.

Hi HoneyJo,
By 'Long time lurker' i actually meant i frequently visit this board but have only recently signed up :)
I've tried some products from other IM's, such as another version of 3WL as i was sucked into the $7 a month but found the support horrible and IMHO did not get my moneys worth as i do with Jons products, so i am sure if there is another Blog posting software around such as my suggestion, Jons effort would far surpass that.

Lol, Don't mean to sound like a kiss-ass Jon, but i actually haven't found any IM software to rival yours yet.

i have something that does this - but it's clunky.

I've been searching and SEARCHING for something that will simply allow me to post different versions of spun articles to multiple blogs.

that's it!

the best spinner NEARLY does it (but you can only do one at a time).

A simple straightforward tool is lacking on the market.

I was really hoping the blogsitebuilder would do it....but it seems to have tanked.
