How to move all my purchases to new computer?
« on: June 27, 2010, 08:29:47 AM »
Hello,

I have purchased several of Jon's products (IAW, IAW Pro, Answer Analyst, TBS, Keyword Snatcher - I think that's it) and need to know how to move to my new computer.  My old computer is on it's last legs and I need to get all my purchases to my new machine as soon as I can so everything will be together and not lose anything.  Please advise so I will know what to do.

Many thanks,
Cindy

Hi Karen,

If it were me I would leave a message and mark it with high priority at www.AskJonLeger.com   ::)

Cause you don't want to loose any info in the process of transfer..

What you can do for the most part is open the new computer and download the systems, it will ask you for your login information and voila, you're in.  That's assuming all Jon's programs are set up the same way. I remember somewhere that if one is logged into your account, it kicks someone else out, so it would be the same, I believe.  Just go to the download page and download it.  Of course, keep your receipts as proof if you have any issues.

What I do is subscribe to an online backup of my hard drive.  When I  bought my new computer, and then restored my info to my new computer.

And of course, when in doubt, do as Joyce suggested, and go to askJonLeger.com

Hope that helps, and congrats on the new computer :)
