I use chrome and they both look good to me  ;D

You could try flowplayer at flowplayer.org.

There's a free version but it has the flowplayer logo

Hoping this helps

Hi Ed

This is best solved with plugins like Video.js
Mike

Thank you.  I will try this.  I tried several plug ins and none of them would work with this latest version of Wordpress.  But i will try this one tonight.

I finally found how to get this to work in IE where it does not display the video until the start button is clicked.  It was actually easy to do after I stopped fighting it.  There is a place in the set up form and in the settings option where you can click autoplay.  I was turning it off in the form and had not paid any attention to the setting option.

Once I realized the setting option existed I removed the click for autoplay there.  Then when I set up the form I also left the autoplay unmarked.   So with both of them being unchecked the video did not display when it loaded.

But this plugin does not work in Firefox or at least it does not work in the version of Firefox I am running.  So until it works in Firefox I will be unable to use it.

But it might be my computer that is causing the problem since I am unable to display most videos using Firefox.

I could not get this to work for me.  It would work when I used their sample settings but it would not work when I substituted my video.  I appreciate you suggesting it but either it does not work in the latest version of Wordpress or I wasn't using the right settings.  But the iframe works so I can have the video on the pages.

Thanks to all who responded to this request.

Thanks.  I appreciate your help.

I am starting to think the problem may be with the Firefox I have on my pc.  I am going to boot my laptop and see if it looks ok in Firefox on it.

But I do appreciate all the help that has been provided.

Just tried the video.js plugin in chrome, internet explorer and firefox
and it worked perfectly with mp4 so it looks like this is the easy way to go.

There may be something wrong with your install of firefox

I removed Firefox from my computer and then reinstalled it.  The plugin is working fine now.  So I spent a lot of time troubleshooting a problem that turned out to be due to my install of Firefox.

I definitely appreciate the time Elliot spend working with me on this problem.
