Hey guys,

A bunch of people have asked for Article Builder to be able to generate a generic "resource box" paragraph at the end of the articles that links out to their chosen URL with the anchor text they specify.

Well, it's here. :)

There's a checkbox above the "Resource Box" setting in the Auto-Posting Job now. The checkbox is labeled "Use a generic Super Spun resource box." Check that box and the previous "Resource Box" field will be replaced with a field called "Generic Resource Link(s)". You put the link HTML code that you want to use in the generic resource box in that field.

For example, if you want to link out to myweightlossplace.com with the anchor text "fast weight loss" in each of the generic resource boxes, you might use this code:

Quote
<a href="http://myweightlossplace.com/">fast weight loss</a>

But if you wanted to randomly select between the anchor texts "fast weight loss", "easy weight loss" and "weight loss diet plans", you might use this code:

Quote
<a href="http://myweightlossplace.com/">{fast weight loss|easy weight loss|weight loss diet plans}</a>

Of course, since full nested spinning is supported you're not limited to only using one URL. You could randomly link to as many URLs as you'd like. Here's an example:

Quote
{<a href="http://myweightlossplace.com/">{fast weight loss|easy weight loss|weight loss diet plans}</a>|<a href="http://myweightlosslocation.com/">{fast weight loss|easy weight loss|weight loss diet plans}</a>|<a href="http://myweightlosshangout.com/">{fast weight loss|easy weight loss|weight loss diet plans}</a>}

That would randomly link to one of three URLs using one of the anchor texts in the spintax.

As always, your feedback, questions and suggestions are encouraged.

Jon

Reserved for Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there a limit to how many URLs I can link out to?

The field limit is 64,000 characters. So you can put as much code as 64,000 characters can hold.

2. Can I include other HTML code (like bold, italics, color, etc) in the link HTML?

Yes. You can use whatever HTML you want in the Generic Link Resource box.

Does it just put an anchor text with a link or does it give generic snippets in a sentence or 2 with the link?

Like I said in the OP, it puts the link in a generic paragraph.

Would it be possible to add the resourse box to the "Super-Spun-Article"?
Thanks

Thanks Jon for this updated feature. One thing I like to do with the resource box when using the Auto Post feature is I just add some php coding to pull items for eBay, Amazon, and other CPA sites to be added to the bottom of the post. I use this in conjunction with phpBay and/or phpZon. I thought I would bring it up here to see if anyone else is doing this. If not you are missing a cool feature you can add to your Auto Posts. I also spin the keyword(s) that are used in the php code so different items are pulled for each post.

I have attached a file that shows one type of the coding I use. BTW I am not a coder I just picked up a little coding ability to do what I wanted.

Any Thoughts
Mike

Jon,

What's happening to that blog commenting tool? Anyway you can automate the posting?

That's not what it's designed for, no. Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but it's not on the to-do list.

This is a good feature but it would be even better if we had the option to have our own super spun paragraph inserted randomly into the article instead of always at the end. This would reduce the footprint considerably.
