Title: Article Builder subscribers get a free plugin
Post by: Amin Motin on March 30, 2013, 04:13:06 AM
If you're an Article Builder subscriber you'll be getting a discount code via email. The code will get you my latest plugin, CleanMe, completely free.

I'm offering it as a bonus for all Jon's Article Builder subscribers, because it's the perfect compliment to the 7 step system he outlined in an email recently, for building blogs on autopilot with Article Builder.

NEW UPDATE April 22

I have a new version of the plugin, using a different licensing engine. Currently there's no way to offer it totally free with my brand new shopping cart plugin (although that's coming), so what I've done is set the price to 1 cent. You can now access the plugin here:  http://sellmeplugin.com/members/clean-me-ab/ (http://sellmeplugin.com/members/clean-me-ab/)

The site it's on will be where I sell the shopping cart plugin and it's a bit bare at the moment, so don't judge it by lack of graphics and fancy sales pages  :)

There's a video on that page showing how to download, install and activate it. There will be further updates in future, so it does more setting up for you.

Once you have the download and your licence key (sent via email), you shouldn't hit any problems activating the plugin even if my site is down for any reason. Licensing is now unlimited for personal use on your own domains.

Update:
I've had a few people email me about logging in to that site to get the plugin. You don't login. What you need to do is go to that page and click on the blue $5 button to "purchase" the plugin. Then click on CHECKOUT.

At that point you can enter your name, email and the discount code. The price will then change to zero - it takes a couple of seconds to make the change. You can then complete the checkout and you'll get an email with a download link and a license key.

If you don't get the email within a minute or two, please check in your spam folder, just in case it went there. ALSO, if you use Gmail you may find it better to login using a web browser to check the spam folder. Some email clients do not show it. Please be sure to mark the email as NOT SPAM when you find it, so Gmail learn that it really isn't spam!!

How fast can you install a blog and configure it ready to start taking content?

I did it in 90 seconds, using CleanMe. I even show you live in this video. You really need to watch this video, which shows CleanMe in action. It doesn't get much simpler than this.

CleanMe Plugin Quick Demo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg1wexA_btU#ws)

It is free to Article Builder subscribers and my own subscriber list. The code to get it for free is coming to you via email. Please do NOT post requests here for the code. If you don't get an email with the code, check your spam folder - it might be in there.

The licensing system for the plugin allows you to install it on 100 blogs, but if you ever need more than 100 blogs just let me know.

When you've got the code from your email, here's where you go to get the plugin:  http://easywpplugins.com/downloads/cleanme/ (http://easywpplugins.com/downloads/cleanme/)

This is REALLY Great Stuff Amin.

Jon said in his e-mail
Quote
I recently emailed you about a blogging experiment I did that got me nearly 30,000 visitors - without writing a single article myself.

Can you tell me how long it took to get 30,000 visitors to a blog?

I can't remember whether Jon gave the exact timescale in his email, but the real point he was making is that he didn't do any posting to his blogs at all.

He had to pay people to go set them up and configure them for him. With CleanMe, it's literally a matter of seconds to get a totally new blog set up.

After that, if you have Article Builder, the posting can be automated in a few minutes and you then sit back, if you want to. Personally I would always add extras to the blogs myself, but that's an individual decision.

There will be a very comprehensive video of the 7 step process within the next day or two (probably tomorrow).

I'll post the link here when it's all uploaded.

@ gbeaty

The code works just fine. Please check that you've copied it correctly, without any extra spaces.

I can see that people are downloading it using the code - it's working.  25 people have already used it within the first couple of minutes.

I'm about to leave for a family dinner so I won't be able to respond to any questions, or comments for a while.

I did just want to let everyone know that there are a couple of enhancements coming to CleanMe, which you'll get of course. I think the new extras will please everyone even more.

I don't want to give away too much at this stage, but it will be doing a lot more for you in the next few weeks, so it's very much worth grabbing your copy now. At a discount of 100% I can't really make it much cheaper!

Thanks Amin,

Jon said he got 30,000 visitors. Do you know if that was 30,000 visitors in a day or month?

Are you tell me this method can get that many visitors without doing any backlinking?

As I recall, I watched Josh's video on this method and I think it wasn't 30K visitors to 1 blog, but 30K visitors to a bunch of blogs, but still impressive if there is no backlinking involved.

@ grf

It wasn't in a day, I'm sure of that! And it wasn't for a single blog, but since they were all built on autopilot from Article Builder it was very little work, other than the initial setup and configuration. I've taken care of the configuration for you with CleanMe  :)

I'll see if I can get more stats from Jon about the actual visitors though.

By using Article Builder autoposting, backlinking was taken care of automatically. I don't think you'd get that number of visitors without some kind of backlinking going on.

However, if you use the Article Builder autoposting jobs to add the content to your blogs, you get links built for you. Jon did no manual backlinking himself. He use the automation within Article Builder to do the posting and the promoting.

If you do a bit of work yourself as well, you'd expect better results.

The link to authority site should be "follow" or "no follow" ?

Hi Amin

Firstly enjoy your dinner or I hope you enjoyed your dinner (depending on when you read this)

I've downloaded your plugin but haven't had a chance to try it out yet
but one sentence in your thank you email caught my attention.

do not use it again on a blog with any real content. It will wipe out your content.

That could be an easy and brilliant way to start afresh with a blog (hacked or dated material.
Would it take it back to the end of the 7 step method as outlined in your video

Amain,

Great job on the plugin .... Kudos on a job well done.

you know how our industry love everything
being automated/plug and play....  ;)

Just a quick question.

I noticed in the video that you had the recommended category was already added.

Did the plugin create that category?

When I installed it... It was not added.

I went ahead and add it manually....

Let me know.

Enjoy your family and your dinner.

@ rafalangel

You can make it follow or nofollow, whichever you wish. To an authority site I would personally leave it as follow.

@ grf

It shouldn't make much difference what theme you use, but some specialized themes do move things about a bit. If you come across a theme where CleanMe doesn't work, let me know. I'll probably have it updated to work with that theme when present.

@ eliot

It doesn't do a full revert - it wipes out posts, pages, comments, links and changes the permalinks. I don't think it's really suitable for using on a hacked/ruined blog and it's not something that I would add. That would be going well outside the original intent of the plugin.

But as an idea for a future plugin, that ain't half bad...  :)

@ ExclusiveMedia

Yes, the plugin should create the recommended links category for you. If you're willing to contact me privately I can look into why it didn't do it for you. I can have the plugin updated if there are any issues.

@ netprofits

I'm definitely late with this, but I will give the link to a very full video showing the 7 step process and I'll post it here. Give me a day or two.

Hi,

Thanks for this super-generous gift - much appreciated.

I have a question

If I have a site with no content but lots of plug ins already in place and I introduce this free plug in - will it wipe all the other plugins out / cause major problems for the domain?

Thanks in advance for your reply to this question.

Hi Amin I have been looking for the Links button in the dasboard of a new site I have started working on and couldn't find it anywhere.

I did a bit of snooping about and learned that the links system was removed in WordPress 3.5.

So how do we add links to an existing site, not a new site using your pugin.

Come to think about it, I dont even see the Privacy button anymore.

Hadn't noticed these changes to Wordpress untill you drew my attention to it.

Cheers
Title: Re: Article Builder subscribers get a free plugin

@ samdeane

Don't use it on an existing blog - it will mess up your settings. If you have a blog already setup you don't need to use this plugin. It's really just to speed up configuring a brand new blog.

@ nhfora

There is another plugin that you can add to Wordpress 3.5 and above to get your links manager back. Why they disabled it completely, I don't know, but if you download the Links Manager plugin (it's from Wordpress themselves so make sure you install the correct one), you'll get your links option back in the menu.

Hey Amin,
Great plugin! I can't wait to try it on a few blogs I'm starting up. Once I did the purchase with the code provided by ArticleBuilder (username is the same as my JLForums handle) I got a 404. Also, I didn't receive an email (checked spam folder) and I checked my server for any filtered emails that may have come up but didn't find anything. Please let me know how I can download it. Once I'm logged in as a user on EasyWPPlugins, both the home page and CleanMe page are 404s.

Please try it again - this time you'll see it requires you to create an account. After checkout you should see the download link and license key immediately.

Send me a private message with your details if you get stuck.

Amin,
Still stuck, both times it required me to create an account (this time I used jalami2 and a different email). Once I hit Purchase it gets redirected to a WP page on your site that says:
Not Found, Error 404
The page you are looking for no longer exists. Perhaps you can return back to the site's homepage and see if you can find what you are looking for. Or, you can try finding it with the information below.
Will try it on another computer or something, maybe it'll do something different. Can't PM you, could be due to my low post count on JLForums?

if you login now and then go to this page:   http://easywpplugins.com/dashboard/ (http://easywpplugins.com/dashboard/)

You should see the download and license key.

I've changed the system slightly so that anyone who gets the plugin now has to create an account there, so you can access the download and license any time you want from http://easywpplugins.com/dashboard/ (http://easywpplugins.com/dashboard/)

The email about the visitors was directly from Jon - it wasn't a video.  Someone has reposted the 7 steps in this thread:    http://prosperative.com/public-forum/article-builder/can-someome-post-jon's-7-steps-email-here/ (http://prosperative.com/public-forum/article-builder/can-someome-post-jon's-7-steps-email-here/)

I can't get it to work.  :(

I started a new wordpress blog for my granddaughter and we added one post. After she went to bed, I tried the cleanme but it didn't work, it didn't even delete the "blog" post that was there, so I touhgt I would try it on a brand new blog. I have just installed an add on blog in my hosting account. I did nothing else before I uploaded the cleanme zip file but nothing happened. Does it work on add-on domains?

EDIT - I didn't remember where to insert the license key. Once I did that, it worked.  ;D In fact it worked VERY FAST!

Hi Amin,

Sounds like a great plugin. I think I'm having a problem similar to Jalami. When I filled in the order form and clicked purchase, I was delivered to a 404 page, where btw, I was logged in. If I click on the Dashboard, while logged in, there are no downloads in the list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amin,

I used the Clean Me plug in once and it worked a treat with one site. If memory serves I then activated it in another site. Today I go back to activate it in a third site - the only difference is thatthis site I had uploaded about 15 plug ins but knowing how it would mess things up I made a point of deactivating and then deleting all the plug ins except Akismet (which I left deactivated). I checked there is no posts etc on the site (never had been) and then uploaded the CleanMe plugin. All looked fine on the surface. I go to give it my license key but this time there is a red word saying INACTIVE under the license key once it had taken time to run thru things.

Is there a limit to the number of time CleanMe will work before I have to pay the $5 fee? If so, then please let me know.

If it is something else then please tell me what I need to do.

I really hope this hasnt screwed up this blog - it is extremely important that this blog runs smoothly so I am getting very worried now that maybe something might have been corrupted permanently on this site. That would be extremely bad news.

Let me know how I should progress please.

All the best

Sam

I am getting the red "inactive" message too. I think you can use it 100 times before having to pay for it (or at least ask for it to be extended) but this is only my 2nd time of trying it. It may be a server problem, as it looks slow trying to confirm the license key?

Wow, I didn't think I'd be writing this any time soon, but I'm getting so many people hitting the easywpplugins.com site that it's simply not coping with the load.

I'm going to have to move it to different hosting, but in the meantime I'm asking my webhosts if they can do anything to help me prevent the problem.

If you're currently seeing an inactive message it means your site can't communicate with mine because my site is fried.

I'm rebooting it which should help, until another huge batch of people all download/license/login at the same time.

My apologies. I really didn't expect the demand to be so sudden - thought it might spread out over a few weeks. The hosting I have for this site is clearly not suitable at all.

I'll update the thread as soon as I have more news, although that will probably be tomorrow.

I rebooted the machine and tweaked a couple of settings that *may* help, but I'm definitely going to move this to better hosting.

Since I have a ton of plugins on there that I'll be selling over the next few weeks, I'm going to need it.

As to licensing, although it's currently set at 100 domains, if you need more just let me know when you've done the 100 :)

For AB and my subscribers there's no limit, but doing it in batches of 100 makes it more manageable.

@ Glenn

You must have completed the "checkout" process before you can download anything. Assuming that you have done that, login to the site again and click on the Download and License Keys link in the right hand sidebar. That should take you to the page you need.

The theme isn't really relevant to the 7 steps, although some themes will have a different layout to the sidebar.

I go to the page to download Clean Me. Once I enter the details and discount code, the amount changes to 0. When I press Checkout, I get a 404 Page Not Found error.

I have registered with username "rajagopalan"

When I go to Dashboard, it says No Purchases made.

When I logout and go to the page "http://easywpplugins.com/downloads/cleanme/", I get the product details to purchase but I am prevented from proceeding with checkout without logging in. When I try to go to the above page after logging in, it doesn't go to the page "http://easywpplugins.com/downloads/cleanme/" but shows me a 404 page not found error.

Please advise.

I'm moving the easywpplugins site to better hosting.

The current hosting setup just is not coping with the amount of traffic and downloads that I'm getting on the site. That means you won't be able to download, or activate the plugin until the site is fully moved.

I've just done the process called updating the DNS - that can take up to 48 hours. That means the site may not be available for that long. Usually it's quicker than that, but I won't actually know until it comes back up.

I'll let everyone know here, of course, when it's live again.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but better hosting is really the only way I can make the site work acceptably fast. Hopefully this should also solve the problems with the people who couldn't get to the download page. It's only a very small percentage of people it affects, but I know it's annoying if you're the one it does affect.

Hi Amin,

I added Article Builder to a number of my existing blogs only to now remember there was a step involving the installation of a plugin that, if I recall correctly, does some interlinking to other random posts on the blog.  My question is: how critical is it to have that other plugin added?  Do you think it's important I go back into those blogs and add the plugin or just add it going forward.  I understand the CleanMe plugin takes care of this when creating new blogs, so my question refers to existing blogs where we are not using CleanMe.
Title: Re: Article Builder subscribers get a free plugin

The interlinking is beneficial to your site for search engine ranking.

It's worth the few moments it takes to install and activate the plugin on your existing blogs.

There are several plugins that do something similar, but the one I use (and CleanMe uses) is called YARPP.

EasyWpPlugins has now been fully moved over to the new hosting.

It certainly seems a lot faster when I test it, so hopefully we'll avoid some of the issues we had last week.

If anyone is still struggling to get a copy of CleanMe, please send me a private message with your email details and I'll take care of it for you. Don't post the details publicly - do it via private message.

Can anyone copy and paste to this thread the original email from Jon regarding the process and the steps? I never got the original email.

stomperk, here you go...

This email is going to tell you how I managed to get
24,970 visitors to a set of blogs I created. I did
this with very little optimization for the search
engines, and without getting any links aimed at the
blogs. It's also going to tell you EXACTLY what I
did (step by step) so that you can repeat the process.

Let me start by telling you what I was doing (which
is part of the "MAJOR mistake" I made).

You see, I kept reading over and over again from
different people on different forums that content
which isn't 100% unique won't get indexed or generate
any traffic from the search engines (particularly
Google).

Now, I *knew* this wasn't true from my own experience,
but I wanted to create a case study to prove beyond
a doubt that it wasn't true.

So I had 76 blogs setup (yes, 76), one for each of
the categories that were then available in my
content generation service ArticleBuilder.net
(there are now 100 categories of content).

Here's exactly what I had done for each blog
(and it's not much):

1. Installed WordPress on a domain name related to the
category.

2. Setup permalinks to show the title in the URL.

3. Installed a random posts widget to display random
posts below every article on the entire site and
recent posts in the sidebar... (this takes care of
the internal linking structure and helps spread the
incoming authority throughout the site).

4. Removed the default links from the blogroll,
renamed it "Recommended" and included an authoritative
site in that and added it to the sidebar.

5. Added a Contact and Privacy page for legitimacy.

6. Added the blog to ArticleBuilder.net and had a new
post created every 3 days (also a mistake -- I should
have had it post more often).

7. I removed the archives, META etc. and only include
random posts, search, recommended (links) and categories
in the sidebar.

There you go. That's exactly what I did. If it looks like
a lot, don't worry -- it's not. Each step
takes as little as seconds or only as much as a few minutes.
Setting up a blog in a half hour maximum is not unrealistic.

I DID NOT BUILD *ANY* LINKS TO THE SITES AT ALL MYSELF

(ArticleBuilder.net automatically submits each blog
post to an indexing service which builds some links
to the pages to ensure they get indexed, but it required
no work on my part since it's done automatically via AB)

Once all of the blogs were complete I just sat back
and watched, compiling the traffic stats for the blogs
each month.

After 5 months the blogs have received a total of
24,970 unique visitors from less than 4,000 blog posts.
That means each post, on average, has gotten more than
6 unique visitors -- and I didn't have to write a single
one of those posts... it's all ArticleBuilder.net content.

Think about that. Each post is created
automatically with NO work on my part, and each time
a post gets created it's generating at least 6 unique
visitors (on average).

If ONLY I had told Article Builder to post to the
blogs daily, or even multiple times a day... how much
more traffic would these blogs have generated?
*sigh* What a tough lesson to learn!

And here's another kicker: the traffic going to each blog
has been increasing month to month. In fact, the last
month I've compiled the data for (January) received
almost TWICE the unique visitors across the blogs
as December! If that trend continues then the traffic
generated by these blogs is going to seriously ramp
up...

And get this:

I didn't do ANY keyword research for the homepage.
(THIS WAS THE MAJOR MISTAKE!)

You see, I was just out to prove that the content
created by Article Builder will:

1. Get indexed by the search engines easily

2. Generate some traffic from the search engines

I wasn't really interested in really optimizing
the blogs for specific keywords. Those two things
were easily proven, but what a mistake it was
to ignore the keyword optimization!

Why do I say it was a mistake?  Because my
Affiliate Manager, Josh Spaulding, built another
blog just last week using the same 7 step process
PLUS optimizing the home page for a specific
two-word keyword phrase in the gardening niche --
and guess what?

AFTER ONE WEEK IT'S RANKING ON PAGE 2 OF GOOGLE
FOR THE KEYWORDS! (Again, with no links built
or any additional optimization outside of the
7 steps outlined above.)

Talk about making me smack myself in the head for
not taking the time to do that.

So what's the takeaway from this?

1. Don't believe the myths that Google only
rewards and indexes 100% unique content

(ArticleBuilder.net content is guaranteed to be at
least 75% unique, but is rarely 100% unique).

2. It's not as hard as people claim to generate
traffic from a blog.

3. You SERIOUSLY need an ArticleBuilder.net
account if you don't already have one!

Hi bostonfan. When I read this it makes me wonder that the plugin you refer to might be my problem which is having over 2000 posts from Article Builder and no backlinks to my site.

What is the plugin you refer to?

Title: Re: Article Builder subscribers get a free plugin

@nhfora

Article Builder now automatically gets you some links to posts it sends to your blog for you.

Are you using autoposting from Article Builder? When did your posting start? In the early days of Article Builder no backlinks were created to posts. It's a relatively recent enhancement.

If you added the posts to your blog yourself, Article Builder doesn't create any links - it's only for the ones automatically posted.

Are you sure you have absolutely no backlinks to your site of any kind? Don't mention the site URL, but how are you checking for backlinks?

If you want to private message me your site details I can check whether you have any backlinks, but don't list your site details publicly on this message thread.

Hey Amin. Can I suggest that in the future you evolve this plugin to be customizable?

Maybe we'd like to use a certain set of plugins and want to have the settings a certain way.

Would be real cool. Is there any way I can tweak things like that right now?

Anyone else get these errors (when the script tries to callup the WP plugin database):

I can resolve this by manually putting these plugins in the site via ftp fyi.

Amin's plugin is not available (that I know of) from wordpress. You have to get it from him, then use the "upload" function in WP from your own computer.

Hi Amin,
I have not received any code via email and i am an active article builder user, so how can i get this plugin or my code to get this plugin.

Thanks

You can now access the plugin here:

When you've got the code from your email, here's where you go to get the plugin:

Is there an easy way to subscribe to ArticleBuilder email list? Despite all the talk of difficulties getting the plugin there is no solution that is apparent.  There seems to be a few more than I who are having trouble that are interested in checking out "clean me" plugin but do not have a clue if or when they received the email if you are a Article Builder customer with the code or license.
